January 2009 – the sudden idea was to cook 5 new meals a week. Meals that I hadn’t made before. Five nights every week.
I began searching online and in cook books for recipes. I attempted to have 1 seafood, 1 vegetarian, 1 red meat, 1 crock pot, and 1 chicken meal each week. Nearly all meals require less than 30 minutes to make since I am working all day.
After each meal I take a picture, jot a note or two about it, and I will post the recipe. Hopefully I will end the year with a long list of meals and notes to help me remember what to do to improve them so that I can continue cooking for years to come.
I can not take credit for any of these recipes. I have found them from various sources, unfortunately when I copied and pasted them into my calendar I didn’t think about remembering where I got them. If you happen to locate the source, please feel free to comment and give credit where it is due.
